The publisher does not interfere with individual manuscript decisions. Decisions to accept, revise or reject manuscripts are based on scholarly merit, relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, methodological quality, ethical compliance and independent peer review. Financial, institutional, political, personal or commercial considerations do not determine editorial outcomes.Where the Editor-in-Chief or another editor has a conflict of interest, the manuscript or complaint will be assigned to an uninvolved qualified editor.
